Park City patrol vehicle damaged after collision

PARK CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – A driver in Park City was arrested for a DUI after colliding with a patrol vehicle on Saturday.

Park City Police Captain Phil Kirk, in his Saturday watch log, released the following:

  • The traffic light at Park Ave and Kearns went out again. UDOT was dispatched to the intersection to check the generator. While officers were on scene providing control for the intersection, a patrol vehicle was rear-ended. The driver that hit the patrol vehicle was arrested for DUI by the UHP trooper investigating the collision.
