Park City assistant city attorney and spouse arrested for theft of hunter’s gear

PARK CITY, Utah (News4Utah) – The Park City assistant City Attorney and her spouse were arrested last week after they were allegedly caught on camera stealing another individuals hunting gear. 

Charging documents indicated that both Polly Samuels Mclean and her husband Andrew Mclean, who is a well known skier, were observed on September 1 on a trail camera taking two hunting tree stands and a trail camera from a wooded area where the victim of the thefts was from. 

In order to take possession of the items, it said both Polly and Andrew Mclean would have to have cut the security cables that attached the items to the tree.

Another trail camera capture the theft and the suspects were later identified through the use of social media as the suspects arrested. 

The value of the items take totaled over $1500 but were less than $5000. 

Both Polly and Andrew Mclean were booked into jail on charges of felony theft and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
