SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Dozens of single moms and their kids had a special breakfast with Santa  at West High School Saturday morning..

The breakfast, held annually, is for mom’s trying to get back on their feet who are working jobs, attending training or education and those going through treatment programs.

The morning starts off with breakfast and a family picture and then the kids pick out a special gift and wrap it for their moms. They also get to do some crafts, while the moms go upstairs to Santa’s Workshop where there are new toys and clothes that were donated by local businesses and the community.

This is the 12th year the Women’s International Soroptimist have sponsored the event. For more information on how you can get involved and help, you can visit their webpage at sislc.org.
