Orem man accused of crime spree across Utah County

UTAH COUNTY (ABC4 News) – An Orem man is facing a slew of charges after police said he went on a crime spree spanning several weeks.

Colby Bronson faces eight charges including theft, criminal mischief, and burglary.

The first incident, according to police, took place in American Fork on April 6.

Business owners reported a motorcycle had been stolen and there was damaged to multiple doors. According to a probable cause statement, video surveillance shows Bronson climbing onto the roof of the business to eventually gain access to the property.

Investigators said Bronson rammed the stolen motorcycle into the doors to open them and make an escape.

Bronson is suspected in other theft and burglary cases around Utah County in the following weeks. In all, police suspect Bronson stole thousands of dollars worth of items and merchandise.
