LAYTON (ABC4 News) – A Layton man is behind bars after police said they found hundreds of images of child pornography on his devices.

John Adams White, 47, was booked into the Davis County Jail for eight counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Detectives and investigators from the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force served a search warrant at his home on Clearwater Drive Thursday morning.

Police said the warrant led to the discovery of hundreds of images on multiple electronic devices belonging to White.

The case, police said, originated from a cyber-tip provided to the Internet Crimes Against Children.
