One person is dead after a semi vs semi crash

EMERY COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Utah Highway Patrol troopers are on scene of a semi vs semi head-on crash Tuesday morning.

Utah Highway Patrol officials say a westbound semi-tractor trailer crossed the centerline of the highway and hit an eastbound semi-tractor trailer in a near head-on collision.

The westbound driver was killed. The eastbound driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and the co-driver was uninjured.

The incident happened at 3:55 a.m. on US Highway 6 between Price and Green River. Utah Highway Patrol says that one person has died.

Utah Department of Transportation says east and westbound lanes are closed with no estimated clearance time.
