LOGAN, Utah (ABC4 News) – One adult male is dead and another in custody after an early morning shooting in Logan.
Capt. Tyson Budge with Logan City Police Department says police responded to a call of a gunshot at 234 Riverbend Road at 6:30 a.m. Friday morning.
When Officers arrived on scene two adult females were performing life-saving measures on an adult male. Officers took over CPR until medical assistance arrived.
Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful and the 23-year-old adult male was pronounced dead.
Officials say there were four children under the age of seven staying in the apartment along with a 28-year-old female and 53-year-old female apartment owner.
The 26-year-old male who shot and killed the victim has been taken into custody and is cooperating with the police.
Cache County Victim Services are assisting officers with the family and children involved in this incident.
