One hospitalized after car collides with UTA bus

KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4 News) – One person is in critical condition after a passenger car collided with a UTA bus in Kaysville Thursday afternoon. 

According to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Nick Street, the crash happened at the intersection of 200 North and Highway 89. 

Street said a preliminary investigation shows the driver of a small vehicle possibly ran the red light just before hitting the bus. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries however the passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition. 

The crash is still under investigation and an update on the passenger’s condition was not currently available.
