OGDEN (News4Utah)- For the second time in a week officials have evacuated the Ogden District Courthouse.
Officials said just after 1 p.m. Thursday Weber County Dispatch received a bomb threat call.
“No specific address for the court was given,” police said. So all of the Weber County courts were evacuated as a precaution.
Exactly a week ago, the 2nd District Ogden Courthouse was evacuated for the very same reason. Security swept the building, but did not find a threat.
Police said the bomb dogs were called to the scene to assess the situation. The evacuation was lifted around 3:30 p.m. The “all clear” was given by police. The court resumed all its functions.
