Officials find missing man with dementia

UPDATE 11/9: Officials confirmed Thursday morning that Walter had been located.

SOUTH OGDEN, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – South Ogden police are working to find a missing man with dementia.

Police say Walter Leodolter, 86, left his residence at 5949 South 1100 East around noon Wednesday.

Walter is said to be driving a 2015 Subaru Forester that is dark gray or blue in color with UT plate: AFLENZ.

Police say Walter has dementia and needs his heart medications. They say he speaks fluent German and  sometimes forgets that he can speak English.
