New book dives into the complexities of religious freedom

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah- (ABC4 News) – Religious freedom is in the spotlight once again as Congress debates the Equality Act.

A new book, “Deep Conviction” highlights four stories of ordinary Americans, including an atheist, and their fight to follow their beliefs.

Author, Steven T. Collis joins us on Inside Utah Politics to discuss the book and how it relates to the current conversation over religious freedom and equal rights.
