NEPHI, Utah (ABC4 News) – Utah Highway Patrol started responding to weather related crashes early Sunday morning, numbers rose as the day and storm progressed.
Crashes started piling up near Nephi on I-15 around 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning. UHP troopers worked with weekend traffic and adverse road conditions to keep divers and roads safe.
Utah Highway Patrol Lt Scott Robertson issued a plea for drivers to slow down in the area and be aware of icy roads through Juab County. Juab County UHP Troopers have handled 70+ crashes and slide offs today, officials say.
