Nearly 400 show up for grand opening to try and win free Chick-fil-A for a year

RIVERTON, Utah (ABC4News) — Hundreds lined up Wednesday ahead of the new Chick-fil-A grand opening with hopes of winning free food for a year. 

The new location at 4627 W. Partridgehill Lane at Mountain View Village had almost 400 people standing in line for the unique two-hour Red Carpet First 100 event, awarding the first 100 eligible participants in line with free Chick-fil-A for a year.  

The line formed at 5 a.m. and doors opened at 7 a.m. A DJ played music while names were drawn to determine the lucky 100.
