SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Police received reports of a naked man running around the area of 1890 West 1125 North early Friday morning.
The naked man broke into a home and came in contact with an elderly woman and pushed her down, police say. Those in the home yelled at the suspect who then ran off. The condition of the woman is unknown.
ABC4 Utah spoke to a woman who says she lives across the street from where the assault took place. Vicki Kirkman said the man tried to break into her car.
“At first I was in shock. I thought, ‘is he really naked?’ ”
“I said, ‘what are you doing?’ And he looked at me and ran over towards the park,” Kirkman said.
Salt Lake Police say they believe they are looking for an African American man, about 6’0″ and between the ages of 30 and 40. They also believe the man has mental issues.
If you see the man, call police.
