SANDY, Utah (News4Utah) – Local and global artists transform the outside of the shops at South Town in Sandy.
Nearly 15,000 square feet of murals are being painted on the building! Three artists should have the entire project done, sometime in July!
The artists were picked in a statewide and international search.
“What was interesting is they invited to collaborate together which is kind of rare for more of a commercial job and both of us as artists we know each other, and we are having a really good time working together,” said Brendan Monroe, artist.
Another artist will paint a mural on the exterior of the State Street entrance wall. The international artists will take care of the north and northwest facing walls.
