Motorcyclist traveling with ‘Bikers Against Child Abuse’ dies after veering off road, crashing

GRAND COUNTY (News4Utah)- A 38-year-old man is dead after crashing the motorcycle he was driving Sunday, troopers say.

Just before noon officials say the man was traveling southbound on SR 128 near the town of Cisco when he veered off the road for an unknown reason and lost control of the cycle.

Troopers say the driver, now identified as Kevin Swoffer of Cedaredge, Colo., suffered significant head injuries despite wearing a helmet. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Swoff was reportedly traveling with the motorcycle group Biker Against Child Abuse (BACA).
