WASATCH COUNTY, Utah (News4Utah) – A motorcycle was traveling southbound on SR-189 at mile post 22 around 7:30p.m. Sunday night.
The motorcycle lost control and crashed on the right side of the road, being thrown from the motorcycle and pinned under a truck Utah Highway Patrol confirms.
The motorcycle crashed into two parked trucks at a pullout on the right side of the road. Officials say near by people lifted the truck off the rider and UHP troopers started CPR.
Corporal Chris Bishop with UHP says the rider was wearing a helmet but suffered extremely critical injuries and was flown by helicopter to an area hospital.
Troopers are investigating speed as a factor in the crash.
