Mayor McAdams cuts ribbon on Wardle Fields Park in Bluffdale

Local News
BLUFFDALE, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Wednesday was a beautiful day to cut the ribbon on a new park and that’s exactly what Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams did in Bluffdale.

Wardle Fields Park is the newest regional park in the county. It features a Rocky Mountain nature theme with a destination playground which has 300 ft. long bouldering wall.

There is also a mountain stream water play splash pad with geysers and a waterfall, a walking path, pickle ball courts and so much more.

“We are adding a major piece to Salt Lake County’s legacy of open space and parks for residents in this rapidly growing part of the valley today and for future generations tomorrow,” said McAdams.

This park in Bluffdale is one of three regional parks funded by the $47 million park bond authorized by Salt Lake County voters in 2012.
