Man surrenders after SWAT standoff in Grantsville

SWAT STANDOFF

GRANTSVILLE, Utah (ABC4 News)- A man is behind bars after police say he barricaded himself and his children inside a home Friday morning.

Officers were called to the scene near 50 Bowery Street after reports of a fight involving a weapon.

Once on scene police say the suspect would not speak with officers and barricaded himself inside the home along with his children. 

SWAT officers responded and were able to negotiate with the man. 

The suspect has not been identified.
