Man struck and killed by Frontrunner train in American Fork

UPDATE: The man struck by the FrontRunner train has been identified as Delwin Laughridge, 53 years old from American Fork.


AMERICAN FORK, Utah (News4Utah) – A man was struck and killed by a FrontrRunner train in American Fork Friday night. 

Authorities said a man in his 50s was walking west on 200 South near 500 West at about 7 p.m. when he was struck. 

A bus bridge was set in place as authorities worked to investigate the incident. It is not known at this time how the incident happened.

The mans name has not been released pending notification of next of kin. An update will be provided once more information is known.
