Man seriously injured during paragliding accident in Utah County

UTAH COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 News) – A 33-year-old man from Colorado was seriously injured after a paragliding accident in Utah County Monday morning. 

According to Lehi Fire Department Battalion Chief Kim Beck, the accident happened at 8:25 a.m. at the Point of the Mountain near Lehi. 

The man was flown to Utah Valley Hospital with obvious femur fractures and extreme lower back pain but is expected to survive. 

No other details were available. If additional information is released, an update will be provided.
