Man killed in single-vehicle rollover near Saltair

SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah (News4Utah) – A man has died after a single-vehicle rollover near Saltair Friday night. 

Lt. Brian Lohrke, Unified Police Department, said victim, 26-year-old Aaron Roll was driving a 1997 Subaru Legacy westbound on the frontage road, about 9400 W. North Temple, when he appeared to have briefly left the road, over corrected and then rolled.  

Roll was ejected and died at the scene. 

A Lyft driver, who was headed east on Frontage road, discovered the wreckage so the exact time of the crash is still unknown. 

The crash is still under investigation and police have not determined any factors that could have contributed to the crash. The name of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
