Man in Raiders sweater threatens Maverik employee with handgun

WASHINGTON TERRACE (News4Utah)- Police in Weber County are asking the public if they recognize a man accused of robbing a Maverik on Tuesday.

Police say the suspect entered the store located at 5153 South Adams Ave. around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

He pointed a black handgun at the clerk and demanded money, officials say.

With cash in hand, the suspect took off on foot.

He was wearing a black beanie, blue jeans, black tennis shoes with white soles, and a gray Oakland Raiders hoodie. He had a blue bandana covering his mouth and a black glove on his left hand.

Police say the man stands about 5’9″ to 6 feet tall and weighs around 250-275.

Anyone who recognizes him or has information on the robbery is asked to call Weber Dispatch at 801-629-8221.
