SALT LAKE COUNTY (News4Utah)- A man is behind bars after officials say they found over 350 child pornography files on his home computer.
For now Benjamin Rodney Berrett,39 is in Salt Lake County Jail facing 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Arrest records state the investigation began in February after a child pornography file was shared with law enforcement over a peer-to-peer network. Crews with the Utah Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force were able to track the file to Berrett’s computer.
A search warrant was executed on April 2nd.
A total of 375 files of child pornography were found on his computer. The pictures contained graphic images of girls as young as two.
Berrett’s bail was set at $100,000.
