SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – A 20-year-old man was arrested for child abuse after he assaulted his 13-year-old brother, breaking the boy’s glasses during an argument.

According to arresting documents, Tobin Ray Andersen was booked into the Salt Lake County jail after officers responded to his home on Friday over an alleged assault. 

Documents state Andersen had been in a fight with his younger brother and had got made at him for not cleaning the house so he punched him in the face and kicked the boy several times. 

Police discovered several marks on the boys neck and shoulders and his glasses were broken. 

A record check on Andersen shows no criminal history in Utah.
