LoveLoud Festival at Rice-Eccles Stadium celebrates individuality with unconditional love

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (News4Utah) – Tens of thousands of people gathered at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City for the 2018 LoveLoud Festival.

LoveLoud was founded in 2017 by Dan Reynolds, the lead singer of Imagine Dragons, to help ignite the relevant and vital conversation of what it means to unconditionally love, understand, accept, and support LGBTQ+ youth to keep families together.

LoveLoud is the catalyst for bringing communities together to start the conversation and celebrate individuality by talking, sharing and showing.

“Live loud and love loud” is the message behind the event supporting the LGBTQ+ community. Friday, Governor Gary Herbert announced he’s dedicating July 28th as LoveLoud Day in Utah. 

The goal was to rains $1 million for local and national charities that support member so the LGBTQ community.
