Law enforcement and schools prepare in case of an active shooter

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 News) Deputies with the Summit County Sheriff’s Office took a step away from their normal routine to help out their local schools. 

The department worked together with the South Summit School District on what to do in case of an active shooter. The sheriff’s department says the training, “allowed teachers, administrators and law enforcement to work together to ensure the safety of our children, should the worst happen.”
