ROME, Italy (ABC4 News) – The Rome Italy temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be dedicated by its President Russell M. Nelson Sunday.

According to church officials, Rome will feature three days of dedicatory services, unlike most temple dedications. They say it is to allow more Latter-day Saints members in the area to participate in the dedicatory services.

The entire First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will be together in Rome. Church officials say it is the first time in the Church that all 15 leaders have gathered in one location outside the United States.

Officials say there will be seven sessions in total for members to participate in.
