LEHI, Utah (News4Utah) – The Jazz Bear is known for silly string and hoops hijinks, but he got together with police and firefighters this morning to take hundreds of children Christmas shopping in Lehi.
It was the third and final excursion of the 18th annual Bear Hugs for Kids program. Eleven busses full of kids rolled up to the Walmart on State Road 73 where they each got to pick out a hundred dollars worth of items for their family or toys for themselves.
Bear Hugs for Kids is made possible by the Utah Jazz, Larry H. Miller charities and the Firemen & Friends for Kids organization.
