SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah)-Over 1,000 people are expected to head to the Utah State Capitol this weekend for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The ceremony starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15th on the south lawn of the Capitol.
“So many people feel isolated when they have this disease or they are caring for someone. They don’t realize there are many other people involved. Here in the state of Utah, there are more over 31,000 people that are living with Alzheimer’s and 152,000 caregivers, ” said Executive Director of Utah’s Alzheimer’s Association Ronnie Daniel
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a chance to join in the fight. Participants help fundraise to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
