Hundreds participate in walk to help end Alzheimer’s

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Hundreds showed up to show support in the fight to end the 6th leading cause of death in America, Alzheimers. 

Nearly 1500 people showed up at the State Capitol for the annual walk to end ASlzheimer’s. It’s a disease that affects so many families who have lost a loved one to the disease or are currently battling it. 

Ronnie Daniel, Alzheimer’s Association of Utah, said they were there to recognize the people who are living with the disease, people who have passed away from the disease and most importantly the caregivers that are so important in the lives of those who are living with this disease.

ABC4’s Emily Clark was this years emcee for the event.
