Hundreds of animals find forever homes at annual Super Pet Adoption event

FARMINGTON, Utah (News4Utah) – It was another successful year for the annual No Kill Super Pet Adoption event held over the weekend in Farmington. 

Dogs, cats and even a few rabbits found forever homes during the two-day event held at the Legacy Events Center. With Best Friends Animal Society putting 800 pets up for adoption, there was certain to be a pet perfect for everyone. 

Best Friends Animal Society do these events to make it easier and inexpensive to adopt a pet with fees starting at just $25.00. They also want to show that you can find a wonderful pet without supporting puppy mills or online retailers 

Luann Downs from Ogden took home a new best friend named Murphy. 

“I think it’s just great that you can come and adopt pets and things like this and they have this it’s wonderful,” said Downs. 

Best Friends Animal Society says that a total of 240 dogs and 83 cats were adopted during the event. For more information about how you can adopt your forever pet, you can contact them on their website at bestfriends.org.
