WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) Teeing off for a local charity that helps those with disabilities.
On Tuesday, ABC4 Utah and several other companies and individuals hit the golf course to help raise money for Camp Kostopulos during it’s 2017 golf tournament.
The 17th annual golf classic was held again at Stonebride Golf Course in West Valley City. While the event appears to be all about drives, chips and putts – the purpose of the event was to raise money to help the camp help those of all abilities.
Camp Kostopulos CEO Mircea Divricean says “We don’t just fund raise and give the money away. We fund raise and then we provide a very, very real service. We make a difference in the lives of people – of all abilities that come to Camp K.”
Camp K helped 1,500 campers during summer camps this year and during the entire year – the 50 year old camp in Emigration Canyon will provide services and activities to 3,500 children and adults.
