MIDVALE, Utah (ABC4 News) – On Monday night, hundreds gathered to remember Cazzie Brown, the Hillcrest High football coach who died Sunday night.
He was 43 years old.
“He honestly changed my life,” said Boston Iacobazzi, student body president and football player at Hillcrest.
Iacobazzi says that Brown inspired him to run for student body president — and that he was a mentor and friend to countless students and players.
After falling ill on Tuesday, Brown died on Sunday.
“It happened so fast, and it’s affecting so many different people,” said Iacobazzi.
