Hill Air Force Base celebrates 70th anniversary of U.S. Air Force

HILL AIR FORCE BASE (ABC4 Utah)- The U.S. Air Force celebrated 70 years over the weekend.

Hundreds of people lined up at the Hill Aerospace Museum to check out the vintage aircrafts and hear stories from veterans about past battles.

“Every time we do something at this museum to commemorate or celebrate or pay honor to the men and women who served our country, the turnout is always amazing,” Museum director Aaron Clark said. “I think that’s a testament to the state of Utah and how we feel about the sacrifices people have made for us.”

The special event also included birthday cake, food, music, demonstrations.
