PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (ABC4 News) — A Utah County woman who according to police, is 16 weeks pregnant, was arrested after officers received a domestic violence call early Monday morning.
According to arresting documents, 39-year-old Andrea Frederic assaulted her husband by hitting him on the shoulder multiple times as he was attempting to leave. Police and Frederic’s husband stated she was very intoxicated and officers determined she was danger to her husband.
Officers said Frederic could not walk or stand on her own and her husband reported that she had been drinking every day and that it was an on-going problem. Police said because of her level of intoxication and the frequency of alcohol consumption, Frederic posed a risk of causing serious bodily injury or death to her unborn child.
Frederick was booked into the Utah County Jail on charges of intoxication, reckless endangerment, assault and personal contact with alleged victim before jail release.
