SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah) – Delta Air Lines IT systems are back online after a “brief” outage Tuesday evening.

Delta teams said they have restored all IT systems after a technology issue briefly affected some systems.

A spokesperson for the Salt Lake City International Airport said the issue originated with Delta’s systems at its Atlanta headquarters. SLC International said a dozen flights were delayed about 25 minutes.

Airline employees are now working to accommodate customers whose travel plans have been affected. Booking, check-in and flight status are once again available on delta.com. The Fly Delta app is also now functional.

Customers should check flight information on delta.com or on the Fly Delta app for the latest operational information affecting their flights.

During the outage, Delta issued a mainline ground stop in the U.S. until systems could be brought back up. Delta said there was no disruption or safety impact on any Delta flights in the air.
