UPDATE: The suspect was arrested Sunday, August 13 at Los Angeles International Airport while trying to board a plane to Belgium.
The FBI is calling on the public to keep an eye out for a wanted serial robber. After months of silence the bandit struck again. This time at three different locations in Idaho.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect dubbed “The Great Outdoors” bandit. He got the name thanks to his outdoorsy attire. Officials say he has worn the same green baseball cap and dark sunglasses in all of his crimes.
In his most recent string of robberies on August 7th, the suspect was not wearing his usual disguise. The first time, in Boise, he was unsuccessful and didn’t have a disguise at all. (He robbed the same bank on March 24th).
For the second and third robberies that day he wore a blue baseball hat, a plaid shirt, and large black sunglasses.
The suspect is 5’4” to 5’6” and weighs 140 to 160 pounds. He is possibly Hispanic, Native American, or Middle Eastern and is about 30 to 50 years old. Most recently he was seen in a black crossover SUV. The vehicle has a Utah plate and was possibly a Mitsubishi Outlander.
The suspect is also wanted for the following robberies:
