Grand County power outages caused by lightning

UPDATE: Rocky Mountain Power says power has been restored to customers in Moab and Price. Officials say the cause was due to lightning. 


GRAND COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 News) – A major power outage early Wednesday morning is being investigated by Rocky Mountain Power.

They say about 1,656 customers have been affected by the unplanned outage. The cause is under investigation and is expected to be restored by 2:30 a.m.
