Governor Herbert to call special session to discuss medical marijuana compromise bill

SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah)- Governor Herbert said he will call a special session after Election Day to address a new medical marijuana compromise bill.

The compromise bill is known as the Utah Medical Cannabis Act. It’s intended to address Proposition 2.

This bill sets a clear standard for distribution through specialized pharmacies and local health departments.
