Governor Herbert signs 9 base budget bills

Governor Gary R. Herbert has now signed nine base budget bills into law. The governor signed the bills Tuesday after, approving the following budgets:

HB001: Higher Education Base Budget, McKell, M. 
HB004: Business, Economic Development, and Labor Base Budget, Potter, V. 
HB005: Retirement and Independent Entities Base Budget, Hall, C.
HB006: Infrastructure and General Government Base Budget, Sagers, D.
HB007: National Guard, Veterans’ Affairs, and Legislature Base Budget, Last, B. 
SB001: Public Education Base Budget Amendments, Hillyard, L. 
SB005: Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environmental Quality Base Budget, Hinkins, D. 
SB006: Executive Offices and Criminal Justice Base Budget, Anderegg, J. 
SB007: Social Services Base Budget, Christensen, A.

After signing the 9 budget bills, it brings the total signed pieces of legislation for the session to ten.
