Gov. Herbert: These 5 bills will improve Utah’s economy

SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah) – Governor Herbert ceremoniously signed five bills today to increase awareness about how they will help our economy. The bills dealt with fostering industries, like technology and aerospace, and opening doors for students to receive training in those fields. 

The bills are: 

SB 103, Strategic Workforce Investments

SB 104, Talent Development and Retention Strategy

SB 131, Talent Ready Utah Amendments

SB 146, Technology Summit Incentives

HB 437, Career and Technical Education Scholarships
