Getting around on Farmington’s Lagoon/ Station Park shuttle

Local News

FARMINGTON (ABC4 News) – Residents and visitors to Farmington have overlooked a small gem on wheels: the Lagoon/Station Park Shuttle.

The eight-stop shuttle disguised as a trolley is completely free and city officials say the stops are within a mile of every home in the city.

The shuttle runs every day of the week with extended hours during Lagoon’s open season. Brigham Mellor is the Economic Development Director of Farmington; he said, “I like to think of it as a merging of the old Farmington and the new Farmington. UTA and the city have invested in this free shuttle because we want employees and visitors to Lagoon to be able to access it easily without their cars. But we also want to create safer walking routes over our bridges where currently there are no sidewalks.”

The Lagoon/Station Park Shuttle departure times vary from hour to hour for each location, so be sure to check the schedule before planning your outing.
