Fundraiser being held Monday night for Grantsville teen battling eye cancer

GRANTSVILLE, Utah (ABC4 news) – A fundraiser is being held Monday night in Grantsville to help support a high school teen battling eye cancer. 

The fundraiser is for Alexa Byrd, a student athlete at Grantsville High and the daughter of the Grantsville High football Coach Kody Byrd.

Alexa has to travel to California for treatments and the community continues to rally around them to help the family afford her treatments as much as possible.

Monday night there will be a raffle and food and fun at the Grantsville City Fire Department located at 26 N Center St, . All the proceeds will be donated to the family.
