Frantic 9-1-1 call sends police to shots fired at Eden house party

EDEN, Utah (ABC4 News) – Weber County Sheriff Deputies are trying to figure out who fired multiple gun shots during a party in Eden overnight.

The Weber County Sheriff’s Office tells ABC4 News their dispatchers received a frantic 9-1-1 call around 2am this morning regarding a person firing a gun outside a home as a fight broke out near 5500 East and 2300 North in Eden…Dispatchers could hear the active gun fire during the call.  

Multiple agencies in Weber County rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, most of the people where gone, including the person who fired the gun and the people involved in the fight. Officers did find multiple shell casings in the street. No one was inured during the melee. 

The suspect with the gun was last seen driving a black sedan.  Police say there were as many as 80 to 100 people at the party.
