A former Executive Director of the Utah League of Cities and Towns has been charged for multiple crimes he allegedly committed during his time in the position.

Kenneth Bullock, 60, of Salt Lake City is charged with multiple counts of theft, misuse of public money, and a pattern of unlawful activity. The criminal charges against Bullock were filed Tuesday by the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office.

The investigation began after a referral from the State Auditor. The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office decided a criminal investigation was warranted based on the evidence found in the initial audit report.

A preliminary hearing is still pending at this time.
