UTAH (ABC4 News) – If you are not wanting to cook for Thanksgiving, there are many options available for dining out. Here is a quick list of places we could find that are open.

Open at 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving and serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, or you can order off the regular Italian menu. You can also order a to-go Thanksgiving dinner.

Homestead Resort Midway

700 North Homestead Dr, Midway, UT 84049, USA

They will serve a Thanksgiving grand buffet including roast turkey and prime rib, salad, sides, bread and cheese boards, shellfish, and desserts. The buffet is $49.95 for adults and $32.95 for children.

La Caille

9565 Wasatch Blvd, Sandy, UT 84092, USA

Serving Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 6 p.m. Offering a three-course menu featuring red pear salad, pumpkin soup, choice of free-range turkey, glazed king salmon, prime rib, or honey-glazed ham, variety of sides and apple pecan bread pudding and white chocolate cranberry pavlova. Cost is $73 for adults and $36 for kids.

Thanksgiving meals from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Turkey for adults $14.99, children 10 and under $6.99; meatloaf or ham steak dinner, $12.99.

Little America Hotel 

500 S. Main St., Salt Lake City

Coffee Shop open from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Holiday items from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. roast turkey dinner for $27.95 or prime rib for $30.95.

Mimi’s Cafe 

Locations in Murray, Sandy, Orem and Layton

Serving traditional Thanksgiving Day lunch and dinner. They also offer full Thanksgiving dinners for takeout. 

Silver Fork Lodge and Restaurant 

332 E. Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, Brighton

Holiday dinner from noon to 6 p.m. Meal includes soup, turkey, ham, sides and dessert. Adults, $34, children 10 and under $17.

Flanagan’s on Main

438 Main St, Park City, UT 84060-5114, USA

Serving a three-course Thanksgiving feast of butternut squash soup, roasted turkey with giblet gravy, stuffing, cranberries, candied yams, and green beans almondine and pumpkin pie with ice cream. Cost is $24.95 per person.

Grub Steak

Three-course holiday dinner from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Includes soup, salad, turkey dinner with sides and dessert. Adults $34.75, children 12 and younger $17.75.

No Name Saloon

Free Thanksgiving buffet. Begins at 2 p.m. Must be 21 or older to attend.

Serving a Thanksgiving Buffet with Turkey and Ham, artisan cheeses, salad and fruits and vegetables. Open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $45 for adults and $22.50 for kids. 


162 South 400 West Salt Lake City and 545 E University Parkway in Orem

Serving a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner along with Brazilian specialties. Open 11 a.m – 8 p.m. $30 for adults and $12 for kids ages 7-12. Kids 7 and under eat free. 

Oasis Cafe 

151 S 500 East Salt Lake City

Serving a full brunch menu 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost ranges from $9 to 12 per entree. 

Franck’s Restaurant

263 S. Holladay Boulevard in Holladay

Four-course Thanksgiving menu. Open 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. $60 for adults and $30 for kids.

Billy B’s Hash House 

718 Coliseum Way in Midvale

Offering Thanksgiving Dinner featuring roast turkey, ham, all the sides and apple or pumpkin pie a la mode. Open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for Thanksgiving or 8 a.m. to 7 p.m for their regular and breakfast menu. Cost is $17.95 per adult $7.95 kids ages 3-10 years old. 

Cracker Barrel

All locations in Utah

Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to close.

This traditional Homestyle Turkey meal with sugar cured ham, sweet potato casserole, cranberry relish, choice of a country side, a refillable beverage, buttermilk biscuits or corn muffins, and a slice of pumpkin pie for dessert. Cost is $12.99 per adult and $7.99 per child.

Golden Corral

All Utah Locations 10 a.m. – 7p.m. Cost is $14.99 adults $13.99 seniors, kids 3 and under free, 4-8 $5.39 and 9-12 $6.99. Prices and times could vary slightly by location.

Thanksgiving Day buffet includes the traditional Thanksgiving favorites and also includes some not-so-traditional fares like steak and shrimp.


All Utah locations – open 24 hours 

Serving a holiday turkey and dressing dinner with sliced turkey breast, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce, served with your two favorite sides and dinner bread.

Village Inn 

All Utah locations – open 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Full Thanksgiving Dinner, you can choose between a special turkey or ham dinner option.
