WASATCH COUNTY (ABC4 News) – Two men are alive and well after they were rescued by search and rescue crews Wednesday.
Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office said dispatch received a call about two missing snowmobilers at 5:20 p.m. It was reported that a 55-year-old father and his 20-year-old son were missing in the Lake Creek area.
Deputies said the pair are from San Antonio, Texas. They reportedly rented their equipment and had been dropped off at the Lake Creek Trailhead at 9 a.m.
The Wasatch County Search and Rescue Team responded and eventually found the 55-year-old amid “zero visibility” in the area. He was treated for hypothermia.
The second snowmobiler, the 20-year-old, was also found alive and well a short time later. He was checked out by medical personnel when returned him to the trailhead.
