Family of 4, pets escape Ogden house fire

OGDEN, Utah (News4Utah) – A family of four escaped a house fire in Ogden Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters were dispatched to 335 Adams Ave. around 12:45 p.m. When crews arrived, they found heavy flames coming from the house.

Seventeen firefighters from Ogden City and Northview Fire Departments worked to extinguish the blaze.

One adult, three children and four dogs made it out of the house safely. They are being helped by the Utah Red Cross.

Damage to the home is estimated at $100,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
