PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (News4utah) – The long-awaited Evermore Park in Pleasant Grove held a soft opening Saturday and announced the date they will officially be open to the public.

The immersive theme park was all decked out for Halloween. From the outside, the park looks like an old-world Gothic style European village but there is a lot more going on inside.

With interactive performances from professional actors in movie-quality costumes to state-of-the-art special effects.

Evermore also features light shows, live creature encounters, food an entertainment.

“Guests can come in at the beginning of that time and have a magical experience,” Justin Kallbacka, Park Operations Manager said.”That’s designed for the little kids with kind of a trick-or-treating, kind of that fun kind of experience.”

Kallbacka said as it gets darker, around 8 p.m. the park becomes more ‘cursed’ and darker characters come out. Its a whole new experience for people over 13-years-old.

The official opening for the park has been pushed back to September 28, next Saturday. But you can get a discount on park admissions if you buy your tickets early on the Evermore website
